For instance, IBM Watson Health and Glass Health uses AI to recommend treatment options by analyzing medical data and literature. This has potential to alleviate pressure on healthcare systems.

    In financial services, AI agents analyze market trends, perform real-time fraud detection, and optimize investment strategies. For example, JPMorgan Chase employs AI agents for trading and risk assessment, enabling faster and more accurate decision-making.

The Future of Jobs Report by the World Economic Forum, estimates that by 2023,  9 million jobs may be displaced, 11 million new roles could emerge, emphasizing a shift in the division of labor between humans and machines. 

According to the same report, workforces will also be augmented by technology, shaping most jobs such that it is evenly split between human, tech augmentation and automation.

Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, made news when he claimed that “The IT department of every company is going to be the HR department of AI agents in the future” not least because it raised a lot of ethical concerns
