Emirates Unveils Inaugural 9 Destinations for New A350 Aircraft on Dubai Flights

Emirates Airlines announces the debut of its new A350 aircraft on Dubai flights, revealing the initial nine destinations to be served. This milestone signals the airline's commitment to modernizing its fleet and enhancing passenger experience. The introduction of the A350 represents a significant step forward in Emirates' expansion strategy, promising improved efficiency and comfort for travelers. By unveiling these inaugural destinations, Emirates aims to provide customers with greater connectivity and convenience, solidifying its position as a leading global airline and meeting the evolving demands of the aviation industry.

Emirates, headquartered in Dubai, has unveiled the initial group of destinations to be served by its A350 aircraft, commencing service in September 2024. The aircraft will primarily operate on short to medium haul routes, with Bahrain as its first destination. With an additional 10 A350s expected to join the fleet by March 31, 2025, Emirates plans to introduce this latest aircraft type to nine destinations in the near future. These initial ten Emirates A350 aircraft will feature three cabin classes, including 32 state-of-the-art Business Class seats, 21 Premium Economy seats, and 259 spacious Economy Class seats.

With the introduction of the initial Emirates A350s into the fleet, passengers will have increased chances to enjoy the airline's well-regarded Premium Economy offering and experience the innovative Business Class cabins, especially on shorter and medium-haul routes in the Middle East, GCC, West Asia, and Europe. Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates Airline, emphasized the A350's potential to revolutionize operations, enhancing efficiency and flexibility in serving regional destinations across these regions.

"With the introduction of the Emirates A350, featuring our latest generation cabin products, including an expanded Premium Economy offering to additional cities, state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment systems, and various customer-friendly amenities, we reaffirm our dedication to providing the ultimate passenger experience. Newly delivered aircraft equipped with our latest cabins will commence scheduled service to the following cities:"

In the Middle East/GCC

  • The inaugural Emirates A350 flight to Bahrain will commence on September 15, operating on the daily EK839/840 service.
  • Over time, A350 services will expand, with two flights to Bahrain, including the second service starting on November 1.
  • The first Emirates A350 will arrive in Kuwait on September 16, operating on the daily EK853/854 service.
  • Starting from December 1, Muscat's daily EK866/867 route will be served by the A350 aircraft.

In West Asia

  • Starting October 27, the Emirates A350 will operate on the EK502/503 route to Mumbai.
  • From the same date, Ahmedabad's daily EK538/539 service will be served by the A350.
  • Beginning January 1, 2025, the A350 will serve Colombo's fourth daily service, EK654/655.

In Europe

  • From December 1, Lyon will be served daily with the Emirates A350.
  • Similarly, Bologna will be served by the A350 starting from December 1.
  • Edinburgh will rejoin the Emirates network on November 4, operated by the A350. Further details will be provided soon.

Emirates will unveil additional destinations in the forthcoming months as it integrates new aircraft into its fleet. Sales for Emirates flights to A350 destinations commence today.
