Honda has unveiled a fresh lineup of electric vehicles (EVs) tailored for the Chinese market, with three models set to make their debut at the Beijing Motor Show next week. An additional trio of EVs will join the initial offerings of new crossovers and stylish sedans to complete the Ye Series. All six vehicles are scheduled to be available in China by 2027. The Ye models will feature a revamped version of Honda's iconic 'H' badge in white, and they will be manufactured and distributed through Honda's joint venture partners, Dongfeng Honda and GAC Honda.

Both the P7 and S7 crossovers, slated for release by the end of this year, will provide buyers with the option of either a single-motor, front-wheel-drive configuration or a dual-motor, four-wheel-drive setup. Honda asserts that the rear-wheel-drive (RWD) versions will deliver "sporty and crisp handling," while the four-wheel-drive (4WD) variants will enhance performance and offer slightly more responsive handling. Although specifics about the interiors have not been disclosed, Honda mentioned that both models will feature an LED instrument panel and an AI-powered assistant.

The GT Concept features a "race driver" driving position, an extra-wide windscreen, and promises "dynamic performance." While Honda has not disclosed any powertrain details for the sleek saloon, it has confirmed that the production version will hit the market before the end of 2025. The designs of the Ye models are based on the MM (Man Maximum, Machine Minimum) concept, emphasizing a driving experience that enhances "the joy of driving." These models will be available alongside Honda's existing e:N electric crossovers, including the smaller e:Ny1 sold in the UK. Honda aims to expedite its transformation in China, where the transition to electric vehicles is rapidly underway, with the introduction of the Ye Series.
