ICSE and ISC students now have the capability to access and retrieve their exam results and mark sheets online. This streamlined process provides them with a convenient and secure way to obtain their academic records.
Girls surpassed boys in performance for both the ICSE and ISC exams.
The Ministry of Electronics & IT announced on Tuesday that ICSE class 10 and ISC class 12 students can now instantly access their results, mark sheets, and certificates through DigiLocker. Students have the convenience of retrieving their official digital documents from anywhere at any time.
"DigiLocker, a key component of the Digital India initiative, has facilitated this transformative step by offering a secure, reliable, and environmentally friendly method for the digital issuance and retrieval of academic credentials by boards, universities, and various institutions," stated the ministry.
The ministry reported that out of 2,43,617 students who appeared for the ICSE exams, 2,42,328 passed. In the ISC exams, 98,088 of the 99,901 candidates succeeded, covering both domestic and international students.
The ministry also stated, “Over 3.43 lakh students can now instantly access their academic records such as mark sheets and certificates from the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) on DigiLocker, immediately after the results are declared.”
Additionally, girls have outshined boys in both sets of exams, achieving a pass rate of 99.65% compared to 99.31% for boys in ICSE, and 98.92% compared to 97.53% for boys in ISC.
