CNN - The 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, renowned for its fashion, is in full swing. Directors, actors, and writers are arriving on the iconic Promenade de la Croisette. This year’s jury includes “Barbie” director Greta Gerwig, “Killers of the Flower Moon” breakout star Lily Gladstone, James Bond actor Eva Green, Spanish director Juan Antonio Bayona, and Turkish screenwriter Ebru Ceylan.
The festival featured the premiere of “Furiosa,” a “Mad Max” prequel starring Anya Taylor-Joy, on May 15. This was followed by Francis Ford Coppola’s $120 million project “Megalopolis,” with Adam Driver and Aubrey Plaza, and Yorgos Lanthimos and Emma Stone's new collaboration “Kinds of Kindness,” featuring Hunter Schafer, Joe Alwyn, and Margaret Qualley.
The south of France is brimming with fashion icons, who have been making bold statements. Demi Moore dazzled in a sculptural Schiaparelli gown, Hunter Schafer stunned in a liquid satin Armani Privé dress, and Naomi Campbell revisited a shimmering vintage Chanel gown from 1996. The festival’s tradition of standout fashion moments continues this year.
