Ukrainian Air Force Reports Destruction of Seven Missiles and 32 Drones Launched by Russia Overnight

KYIV, May 30 (Reuters) - According to the air force commander speaking on Thursday, Ukraine's air defense systems successfully neutralized seven missiles and 32 drones launched by Russia overnight. 

The air force official, communicating via the Telegram messaging app, stated that Russia initiated a total of 51 missile and drone attacks. The commander mentioned that Russian forces targeted "military facilities and critical infrastructure in Ukraine," although specific details were not disclosed. 

In a separate statement, Ihor Terekhov, the Mayor of Kharkiv in eastern Ukraine, reported that critical infrastructure within the city was bombarded last night, resulting in four injuries.

No casualties or damage resulting from the attacks were reported by other civilian and military authorities.
