Boston Brand Media brings you the latest news - The Neapolitan pizza, a timeless classic, is renowned globally for its simple yet exquisite ingredients. With its slightly charred crust, flavorful tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and fresh basil, it perfectly illustrates the principle of 'less is more.'

Dating back three centuries, pizza in Naples is not just a popular food but a vital part of the city's history.

It was originally created to provide an affordable, quick meal for the less fortunate.

Since 1984, the True Neapolitan Pizza Association has passionately defended the authenticity of this beloved food and promoted its culture worldwide.

This week, the association convened many of its members and industry professionals from around the globe to explore pizza's gastronomic roots and discuss ways to sustain its popularity and success.

There is no secret ingredient to making a delicious Neapolitan pizza; achieving its revered status requires using the right ingredients for everything.

The association's pizza chef school attracts students from all over the world, with up to 500 students attending courses last year to learn the art of making true Neapolitan pizza.

Certified Neapolitan pizzerias now exist in 58 countries, and the art of making Neapolitan pizza has been recognized by UNESCO's list of Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2017.
