The UAE introduces its first licensed lottery, giving participants the chance to win a grand prize in this groundbreaking initiative.
In addition to "Lucky Day" tickets, participants can purchase scratch cards priced between AED 5 and AED 50, offering potential prizes of up to AED 1 million. The UAE has introduced its first-ever licensed national lottery, featuring a massive jackpot of AED 100 million, equivalent to $27.2 million.
Reports state that the first draw for this federally approved lottery is scheduled for December 14. The UAE Lottery is managed by The Game LLC, operating under a licence granted by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA).
Residents aged 18 and over can access various participation options via the lottery's official website. Currently, The Game LLC offers two games, Lucky Day and Scratch Cards, with plans to introduce additional options in the future. "Lucky Day" tickets, priced at AED 50, are available for purchase on the UAE Lottery's website.
As per a Khaleej Times report, participants can select six numbers from the 'Days' category and one from the 'Months' category. To win the AED 100 million jackpot, all seven chosen numbers must match the draw results. A second prize of AED 1 million will be awarded to players who match all six numbers in the 'Days' category.
Players matching five numbers from the 'Days' category and one from the 'Months' category will win the third prize of AED 100,000. A fourth prize of AED 1,000 is available for participants matching either five 'Days' numbers or four 'Days' numbers and one 'Months' number. According to Khaleej Times, participants can win AED 100 by matching various combinations, such as three 'Days' numbers and one 'Months' number, or other simpler matches.
Additionally, the lottery ensures seven winners receive AED 100,000 each through "Lucky Chance IDs," independent of the "Lucky Day" draws.
