As tensions in the Middle East escalate, airlines have suspended flights to and from the region. This suspension affects numerous routes and may impact travelers' plans. The decision comes in response to growing security concerns and instability, highlighting the broader impact of regional conflicts on global air travel and aviation operations.

Concerns about a broader conflict in the Middle East have led international airlines to suspend flights to the region or avoid affected airspace. Here are some airlines that have modified their services:

AEGEAN AIRLINES
The Greek airline has cancelled flights to and from Amman until September 30, Beirut until October 1, and Tel Aviv until October 26.

AIR ALGERIE
Air Algerie has suspended flights to and from Lebanon until further notice.

AIRBALTIC
Latvia’s airBaltic has cancelled flights to and from Tel Aviv until September 1.

AIR FRANCE-KLM
Air France has cancelled flights to Tel Aviv and Beirut until at least August 26 following a major missile exchange between Israel and Hezbollah on August 25. KLM has cancelled all flights to and from Tel Aviv until October 26. Transavia, a low-cost unit of the Franco-Dutch group, has cancelled flights to and from Tel Aviv until March 31, 2025, and to Amman and Beirut until November 3.

AIR INDIA
Air India has suspended scheduled flights to and from Tel Aviv until further notice.

CATHAY PACIFIC
Cathay Pacific from Hong Kong has cancelled all flights to Tel Aviv until March 27, 2025.

DELTA AIR LINES
Delta Air Lines has paused flights between New York and Tel Aviv through October 31.

EASYJET
The UK budget airline stopped flights to and from Tel Aviv in April and plans to resume on March 30, 2025.

IAG
British Airways, part of IAG, has suspended flights to and from Tel Aviv through August 28. Spanish low-cost carrier Vueling has cancelled all flights to Tel Aviv and Amman until October 26. Iberia Express suspended flights to Tel Aviv until August 25, with no further updates as of August 26.

ITA AIRWAYS
ITA Airways from Italy has extended the suspension of flights to and from Tel Aviv until August 26.

LOT
Poland’s LOT has suspended flights to Tel Aviv until September 1 and to Beirut until September 2.

LUFTHANSA GROUP
The Lufthansa Group, including Swiss International Air Lines, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Condor, and Eurowings, will resume flights to Amman and Erbil from August 27, but has extended the suspension of flights to Tel Aviv and Tehran until September 2. Flights to Beirut are suspended through September 30.

RYANAIR
Europe’s largest budget airline, Ryanair, has cancelled flights to and from Tel Aviv until September 30 due to “operational restrictions.”

ROYAL JORDANIAN
Royal Jordanian has suspended flights to Beirut as of August 25, without specifying the duration, according to state news.

SUNEXPRESS
SunExpress, a joint venture between Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, has suspended flights to Beirut until December 17.

TAROM
Romania’s TAROM cancelled flights to Tel Aviv on August 25-26, after briefly resuming them between August 20-23. It also adjusted flights to and from Amman on August 25-26 to use detour routes. The suspension of flights to Beirut has been extended until September 2.

UNITED AIRLINES
United Airlines has suspended flights to Tel Aviv for the foreseeable future due to security concerns.

LEBANESE AIRSPACE ALERTS
The UK has advised British airlines not to enter Lebanese airspace from August 8 until November 4 due to "potential risks to aviation from military activity."
