As part of this agreement, France's prominent design schools, including LISAA School of Art and Design, Atelier Chardon Savard, Istituto Marangoni, and IESA, will join the CEG portfolio.
The foundation program, spanning three terms at ONCAMPUS Paris, aims to equip international students with specialized skills before progressing to undergraduate degrees at these esteemed institutions.
Brendan Webb, CEO for Commercial at Cambridge Education Group, emphasized that the partnership aims to meet the increasing demand for creative education opportunities. He highlighted Paris's status as a cultural and artistic hub, expressing excitement about welcoming aspiring talents nurtured by the city's vibrant creative scene.
The programs offered through this partnership serve as a gateway for future innovators seeking internships in renowned global brands and pursuing careers in one of the world's leading fashion capitals.
Galileo Global Education, with its extensive network of 54 schools across 91 campuses and collaborations in 13 countries, plays a pivotal role in this collaboration. Didier Bouvet, International Director of Business Development at Galileo Global Education France, underscored the significance of this partnership in providing international students with access to prestigious arts and design schools in Paris. In addition to renowned schools in France, the agreement also encompasses prestigious institutions in Italy. Donato Medici, CEO of Galileo Global Education Italia, emphasized that the initiative seeks to foster a vibrant educational ecosystem that transcends geographical boundaries. By providing students from diverse backgrounds with unparalleled opportunities in the realms of fashion, art, and design, the partnership aims to cultivate an environment conducive to growth and success.
The GGE Italia Group, comprising esteemed institutions such as Istituto Marangoni, NABA, and Domus Academy, will further enhance the partnership with their rich heritage and innovative educational approach, according to Donato Medici, CEO of Galileo Global Education Italia.
Scheduled to commence in September 2024, the new course marks an expansion of ONCAMPUS Paris's existing offerings. Alongside disciplines like Business, Economics, Finance, and Management in collaboration with KEDGE Business School, the addition of this art and design program aims to broaden ONCAMPUS Paris's academic portfolio.
Moreover, ONCAMPUS already provides an array of art and design courses in the UK, in partnership with universities including those in Southampton, Reading, Loughborough, and London.
In a related development, Navitas recently announced a 10-year partnership with ICN, a French business school, underscoring the evolving landscape of the pathway industry across Europe. Notably, Study Group has ceased its operations in the Netherlands, redirecting its focus to strengthening its presence in the UK market. This strategic decision comes amidst regulatory changes proposed by the Dutch government, impacting the international student recruitment sector.
