A Nigerian man recently set a new world record for visiting the most fast food restaurants in 24 hours. Munachimso Brian Nwana, a 22-year-old content creator and food consultant, achieved this feat in Abuja, Nigeria's capital. He surpassed the previous record of 100 by visiting 150 establishments. According to Guinness World Records (GWR), Brian completed the entire route on foot, covering over 25 kilometers, as no private transport is allowed during the attempt.

GWR requires participants to purchase and consume at least one food or drink item at each location, with 75% of the orders being food. Brian started his journey at 5 pm, took a break from midnight to 9 am, and sampled food at most restaurants he visited. His remaining food was shared with his team and the public.

Brian's challenge included various foods like shawarma, pizza, fried chicken, burgers, and traditional Nigerian dishes such as moin moin and amala. He undertook this challenge to promote Abuja's restaurants and highlight Nigerian cuisine.

The two previous record attempts occurred in New York City. Brian expressed pride in setting the record in Abuja, noting the added difficulty due to the city's limited public transportation compared to New York's well-developed system.
